Đại dịch Covid19 đã làm nổi bật sự đóng góp của công dân nước ngoài ở Canada trên tất cả các lĩnh vực và trình độ kỹ năng. Nhu cầu về lực lượng lao động hỗ trợ về sức khỏe, phúc lợi cá nhân cũng như việc phục hồi kinh tế tại Canada ngày càng gia tăng.

Ngày 14/04/2021 Bộ trưởng Bộ nhập cư, người tị nan và quốc tịch đã công bố một lộ trình mới cho hơn 90.000 lao động và sinh viên quốc tế đã tốt nghiệp – những người đang đóng góp tích cực cho nền kinh tế Canada. Trong đó 20,000 người đang lao động trong lĩnh vực y tế, 30,000 người lao động trong nhóm các ngành nghề thiết yếu và 40,000 sinh viên quốc tế vừa mới tốt nghiệp.

I. Đối với các lao động:

Có kinh nghiệm làm việc trong một nghề nghiệp thiết yếu hoặc lĩnh vực y tế phải đáp ứng điều kiện sau:

♦ Đang sinh sống và làm việc tại Canada

♦ Có kế hoạch sống ngoài Quebec

♦ Trình độ ngoại ngữ CLB 4

♦ Có 1 năm kinh nghiệm làm việc ( ít nhất 1560 giờ làm việc)

♦ Công việc nằm trong danh mục Phân loại nghề quốc gia như sau

II. Đối với các du học sinh:

Từ ngày 06/05 đến ngày 06/11/2021, IRCC sẽ chấp nhận các hồ sơ từ nhóm các sinh viên quốc tế đã tốt nghiệp tại một cơ sở giáo dục của Canada với điều kiện:

♦ Đã hoàn thành chương trình học tại một trong các cơ sở học tập được chỉ định ở Canada sau tháng 1/2017

♦ Đã được cấp một trong các chứng chỉ sau:

– Bằng cấp (Associate, Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate) được cấp sau khi hoàn thành chương trình có thời hạn ít nhất 8 tháng;

– Chứng chỉ được cấp khi hoàn thành một chương trình trong bất kỳ thời hạn nào dẫn đến nghề nghiệp có tay nghề cao

Hoặc một hoặc nhiều văn bằng / chứng chỉ / chứng nhận đáp ứng các điều kiện sau:

– Đối với văn bằng / chứng chỉ, mỗi chương trình học phải có thời lượng ít nhất 8 tháng và thời lượng tổng hợp của (các) chứng chỉ phải tương đương với chứng chỉ hai năm (thời gian ít nhất là 16 tháng).

– Đối với DVS và AVS, mỗi chương trình học phải có thời lượng ít nhất là 900 giờ và chương trình học kết hợp phải có thời lượng ít nhất là 1.800 giờ.

♦ Được làm việc tại Canada trong bất kỳ ngành nghề nào tại thời điểm nhận được đơn xin thường trú

♦ Trình độ ngoại ngữ: CLB 5
